We’ve just wrapped up the “Join Our Ranks” project for the Laval Police Service—and let’s just say it shakes things up far beyond typical recruitment videos.

Our mandate:

to create inspiring content that sparks the desire to become a police officer in Laval… especially among students still in school who dream of action and making a difference.

The centerpiece of the project is a short, ultra-dynamic video that highlights the on-the-ground side of the job. Viewers are thrown straight into the action, with footage of officers in the field, tight editing, and a strong use of motion design elements that add punch, rhythm, and a slightly gritty edge—something you don’t often see in this type of campaign.

The idea was clear: to move away from the smooth, corporate, and often boring recruitment videos we’re used to seeing. Instead, we wanted to speak directly to young people who thrive on challenges, adrenaline, and careers that truly move—showing them that this is exactly what the Laval Police Service has to offer.

In addition to the video, we designed a series of bold, punchy posters, placed in strategic locations to connect directly with our target audience.

In short, a project that breaks away from the beaten path and finally presents a true, modern, and compelling image of what it means to be a police officer in Laval.
